Lexus hybrid hatch: CT 200h

Lexus hybrid CT 200h hatch

Prepared for reveal at Geneva in just a couple of weeks, Lexus’ hybrid hatchback CT 200h  is a development of the Lexus LF-Ch concept that was revealed six months ago and features the second-generation Lexus Hybrid Drive technology.

The LF-A is one of the most anticipated concept cars of the moment, so Lexus decided to take advantage of this great momentum and tease us with another version of the car, the LF-A roadster. The top-off looks arguably better than the cabriolet, the long hood fits a lot better now, the backside of the car also looks a bit tidier on this version, that hides a V10 engine able to produce 500bhp. Lexus also stated that removing the roof has had little effect on the car’s rigidity and stability, due to the light but strong structure made of carbon fibre and aluminum. (more…)
