Undoubtedly this year’s Geneva Motor Show will be a fruitful auto show, as a lot of concept cars and new models have been said to be revealed. If that doesn’t ring any bell, you can review the posts about Kia, Alfa Romeo, Auris or BMW.
Thus, VW’s Spanish brand, Seat, announced they would reveal an Ibiza ST, that will be launched in Switzerland. The Ibiza ST (Sport Tourer) will have six engines shared with its VW Group cousins, four of them TSI/TDI units with direct injection and turbocharging. DSG is an option and there will be three trim lines – Reference, Style and Sport.
The Ibiza ST follows SEAT’s unique design language with its “arrow design” and measures of 4.23 metres, 18 centimetres longer than the Ibiza hatch, with 430 litres luggage volume before folding the split rear seats. SEAT promises quality materials to the interior, functionality and good taste as of the looks.
Judgind by the exterior and by Seat’s satisfactory cars so far, the Ibiza ST will surely be good move for the Spanish brand.
