Yes, you read well! It’s not like in the case of the young Kazakh who built himself a Rolls Royce out an old Mertz. This guy here transformed a gorgeous Lamborghini into a ‘Stang. Not that this Mustang is not gorgeous, especially after all the work he’s done with it, but many don’t get the point. If he had built a Mustang out of a tiny Smart for 2, things would have been clear. Would they?!
It took him one Mustang shell, one Mustang parts car, one Lamborghini Gallardo parts car, and uncounted hours of labor to build the muscle car, including the transmission and the all-wheel-drive system. And I have to admit that he’s got skills!
I am a VERY big fan of Mustangs and honestly I would take one for the Lamborghini, so I kinda understand this guy, or maybe he just wanted to show off his talent. And if I were to be mean…usually you transform an old rusty car into a shiny home-made piece of jewelery. Touche, Lamborghini!

No Comments » January 29th, 2010 Shteph Living in Russia means, among having a vodka-drowned liver and wearing fluffly busbies, long cold winters with heavy snows. And if your lucky enough to live surrounded by vaste wasteland, you should consider building yourself a way out of there!
If you lack imagination, have a look at the video below. I guarantee there’s nothing better than this!
If the vodka makes you sight fuzzy, here are some hints of how to have your own Siberian husky to pull you out of that deserted white land: First of all, you need a rear wheel drive car, then, a car trailer with balloon tires at the rear and a snow ski at the front. Lash the rear end to a support and take off the rear wheels and replace the rim with an offset chain sprocket. Run a chain around sprocket and to the rear wheel gears then lash strap the front wheels into a cradle that’s hooked up to the ski’s steering system. And …voila! Just drive it alcohol-free!

Afraid the End of the World might caught you unprepared? If you have $30000 to spare, visit eBay and take that off of your mind. $30000 is not much at all if you think it may safe your life. The Chevy boat-truck is a modified 1951 Chevrolet pickup, equipped with the necessary tuning kit to run both on road and water. All you need is to fill it up with beer and you can quietly and worriless watch NASCAR.

Not to mention enduring the freezing temperatures outside and the cold inside the car. And it always gets warmer when you arrive at the office. (tropical regions enhabitants will now quietly leave Now that you’ve arrived home, grab a beer, sit back and enjoy the video below. You want one, but you don’t have the funds. You raise some funds, but spend it on beer with the guys and Christmas presents for girlfriend which dumps you on New Year’s Eve for the cool guy in school who owns a chopper. You get pissed off. Really pissed off. Realise it’s not gonna take you anywhere. Also realise that alcohol doesn’t solve your problems…but neither does milk. You put yourself together, chop the tallest and strongest of all trees on your street. Extra-points if you chop the sequoia on chopper-guy’s front lawn. Extra-extra points if you crash it on his chopper. Rush back home. May keep the dumb grin on your face, it makes you feel good. Dismember sister bike. Grin gets wider. Finally, custom-make own motor-bike. As chopper-guy no longer has a chopper, girlfriend comes back. You save the day….and become an internet star. The end.

Canadian auto/bike manufacturer Campagna Corporation in Quebec has thought of the average person who wants the thrill of driving a motorcycle but is looking for a little more safety and security, so they created T-Rex. It’s a three-wheeled car…or a two-seat motorcycle. I can’t simply tag it properly. However, it is a hell of an interesting vehicle: the seating position and the angle of the steering wheel, along with the suspension make it feel and drive more like a sportscar. The interior has two seats with three point retractable seatbelts and is protected with a tubular steel roll cage for maximum safety and protection. With a 1.4 L, four cylinder engine, the T-Rex can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 157 mph. The amazing acceleration is due to the streetbike technology available today that Campagna uses to their advantage.

You remember the particular driving lessons when you had to exercise you parallel parking. It seemed easy, cause the teacher was beside you…or at least his feet were there for support. And it didn’t matter if you didn’t do it perfectly parallel, if you scratched the car a bit or if it took you 10-20 moves to finally get the car in a sort-of-parking position. But what happens when you get you own car and you can’t afford getting it scrathed or parking it 2 feet away from the sidewalk? (more…)

Audi Snook isn’t really a car and it’s wheel is not … well….a wheel,is a sphere.
This concept was realised by the german designer Tilmann Schlootz.The vehicle seems to be a variant of the Seagway,copying the ideea of spherical wheels from the “I,robot” movie.
This odd car has 3 cylinders that will help the sphere to move in any direction,maintaining the car stable.
The Audi Snook won the Michelin Challenge Award 2008 at Detroit Auto Show.
