“I’m a sophisticated drop-dead sexy robot sent back through time to change the future for one lucky oof-bird!” Nothing more appropriate could come to my mind when looking at 2013 BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept.
Here, let me explain myself: BMW will keep the radical plug-in hybrid powertrain, which develops 356 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque in the concept. Translated, it means a turbocharged three-cylinder diesel range extender and twin electric motors powered by a lithium polymer battery pack that was featured in Frankfurt. High-tech composites and construction techniques keep it under 3,000 pounds, meaning that it will go from 0 to 60 in less than 4.8-seconds.

You want one, but you don’t have the funds. You raise some funds, but spend it on beer with the guys and Christmas presents for girlfriend which dumps you on New Year’s Eve for the cool guy in school who owns a chopper. You get pissed off. Really pissed off. Realise it’s not gonna take you anywhere. Also realise that alcohol doesn’t solve your problems…but neither does milk. You put yourself together, chop the tallest and strongest of all trees on your street. Extra-points if you chop the sequoia on chopper-guy’s front lawn. Extra-extra points if you crash it on his chopper. Rush back home. May keep the dumb grin on your face, it makes you feel good. Dismember sister bike. Grin gets wider. Finally, custom-make own motor-bike. As chopper-guy no longer has a chopper, girlfriend comes back. You save the day….and become an internet star. The end.

It’s enough to say “Porsche” to make you grin and see yourself drifting Fast and Furious style. What about when saying “Porche Panamera tuned by Wald International”? Even better! DO take a good look at the photo. The front bumper job and new side sills give the road-runner a sportier air, along with the rear bumper, which unfortunately can’t be seen in the photo. Until the official photos are released we can just nibble our nails while admiring the job done by the Japanese tuner.

Canadian auto/bike manufacturer Campagna Corporation in Quebec has thought of the average person who wants the thrill of driving a motorcycle but is looking for a little more safety and security, so they created T-Rex. It’s a three-wheeled car…or a two-seat motorcycle. I can’t simply tag it properly. However, it is a hell of an interesting vehicle: the seating position and the angle of the steering wheel, along with the suspension make it feel and drive more like a sportscar. The interior has two seats with three point retractable seatbelts and is protected with a tubular steel roll cage for maximum safety and protection. With a 1.4 L, four cylinder engine, the T-Rex can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 157 mph. The amazing acceleration is due to the streetbike technology available today that Campagna uses to their advantage.

You remember the particular driving lessons when you had to exercise you parallel parking. It seemed easy, cause the teacher was beside you…or at least his feet were there for support. And it didn’t matter if you didn’t do it perfectly parallel, if you scratched the car a bit or if it took you 10-20 moves to finally get the car in a sort-of-parking position. You know that name is very important when it comes to a car. It can and should offer helluva lot of details regarding the machine. This is how we wake up with long, complicated names that make your eyes flip like a snail’s on a motorbike. Maybe this is the reason for which many carmakers have chosen to simply use one/two letters and figures to “baptise” their offsprings. Take Audi, Mazda or Peugeot. However, it doesn’t make any difference if you present a car at a motor show under a name and then re-name it without any other modifications.

Along with the official photos of the 2011 3 Series Coupe and Convertible, BMW released new shots of the LCI M-Sport package which gives the car a sportier look and more dynamic characteristics.
The front and rear spoilers, along with the side skirts are also ordered separately as an M aerodynamics package and could not be combined with other equipment for the M Sport package. The M-Sport packages offers three different light-alloy wheels in 18 and 19 inches. As usual, upgraded M sport suspension and the BMW Individual High Gloss Shadowline are included as well.
The inside the M-Sport package includes an M leather steering wheel, aluminum interior trim in Glacier Silver, the roof lining in Anthracite, and sports seats in cloth / Alcantara combination.
Expect to see as well the usual M door sills, M footrests and M gear selector. Only in conjunction with the M Sports package, the Le Mans Blue exterior paint is offered as an exclusive color.

A driver that was talking to his cell phone didn’t see the red light and crashed into an Acura that was running on green.Acura’s driver was seriously injuried.
